Trunk or Treat

PCB is invited to participate in a Trunk or Treat event at St. Mathews church in Barrington.  This event is intended to become a yearly event hosted by BAMA (Barrington Area Ministerial Association) and rotate churches every year.

 

We are hoping to participate this year by having people decorate their car or truck trunks and/or dress up in costumes and pass out candy to kids who attend.

 

The event will be Monday, October 28 from 5-6:30.  Trunks should be there around 4-4:30 pm to assemble in the parking lot in anticipation of the Trunk or Treaters.

 

Location will be at St. Mathews Lutheran Church – 720 Dundee Ave., Barrington, in their parking lot.

 

People passing out candy are asked to bring at least 300 pieces of candy to pass out. All participants will be provided Chick-fil-A for dinner as a thank you for helping. 

 

The Barrington Police Department will also be there helping as well and the Community Meal will be providing hot dogs to families and children who attend.
