Music on the Hill returns with three spectacular programs this season. All concerts are on Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM, with pre-concert dinner and activities at 6:00 PM.

Day of the Dead Fiesta

Cielito Lindo Mariachi Band

PCBers and guests experienced the vibrant sounds of mariachi Cielito Lindo, a talented family with music running deep in their veins. Since beginning their public musical journey as young children in 2006, these fourth-generation musicians have been making waves in the regional and national music scene ever since. The family which is based in Chicago, IL has performed for Nickelodeon’s “America’s Most Musical Family,” Univision, Chicago Tonight, WGN, Chicago Bulls, and even Lollapalooza.

The Langen-Conneely Quartet

The New Year was celebrated with a spirited session of traditional Irish music. Featuring Pauline Conneely, banjo, Kathleen Conneely, whistle, Tim Langen, fiddle, and Jesse Langen, guitar. The Langen-Conneely Quartet brought together two talented families for an evening of lively Irish music and storytelling. With much national and international acclaim shared among these musicians, the Langen-Conneely Quartet ensured a celebratory start to the New Year.

Mardi Gras Party

Charles Thomas Jazz Trio

Come join us for this toe-tapping program to celebrate Mardi Gras. With a repertoire that ranges from Bernstein to Stevie Wonder, and from Gershwin to gospel, vocalist Charles Thomas spices up servings of jazz standards with eclectic pop, classic folk, and contemporary world music flavors. His performances in venues from Chicago’s Jazz Showcase and New York’s Laurie Beechman Theatre to Paris’s Franc Pinot have featured collaborations with artists as diverse as jazz pianists Geri Allen and Amin Claudine Myers, internationally renowned dance company Urban Bush Women, and vocal ensembles Opera Ebony and New York Harlem Theater.
