Children's Ministry
Children in Worship
Intergenerational Worship is an important aspect in the life of this church. It encourages active participation from all ages and stages; from the youngest to the oldest and everyone in between.
At PCB we don’t expect children to sit still and be quiet. Children should be heard and seen. They should ask questions, wiggle their bodies when needed, cry, sing, read scripture, and lead. After all, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14.
More important to us than any kids’ program is that our kids know how important they are and how capable they are of participating in church. We want every kid to know they have a role to play, whether that’s ushering, greeting, coloring a picture for the bulletin cover, collecting the offering, or being a liturgist, there’s a role and a place for all!

GRACE SPACE (NEW!)
Kids are often more engaged when they can see what’s going on. Beginning end of Summer 2026, families are specifically invited to worship in the area at the front of our Sanctuary near the piano, where there are now small tables, chairs, and quiet toys.

Family Ministry
Throughout the year the Christian Education team will provide opportunities for our families to gather together for learning and fun. Breakfast with Jesus, a Pentecost picnic, Halloween/Reformation, and an Advent celebration to name a few. We will also add ice cream socials, movie nights and other fellowship times to the calendar to facilitate a community that you and your children look forward to being part of.
