Habitat for Humanity

The Presbyterian Church of Barrington has been helping to provide/improve shelter for families in need through the Habitat for Humanity Northern Fox Valley affiliate for over 20 years. We do this by providing financial support to HFHNFV as one of PCB’s target missions, by providing volunteers to help during days of construction, and by providing prayer support for this great work.

You can participate by volunteering to help at PCB’s build site in Carpentersville (2 homes currently being built there) on one of our build days – the second and third Saturday of every month (we build year-round). No prior experience or tools required. Each build site has a project manager and experienced volunteers to provide guidance as well as a well-stocked trailer filled with all tools required.
