January: A time to “take stock” on the past year and ways we can improve and embrace the good things we have accomplished. New Years resolutions can do just that. Along with “I’ll lose weight, exercise more,” etc., we can explore our spiritual needs and ways we can deepen our commitments to our faith, how we can give more of ourselves to helping those in need, joining church charity activities, and partaking in group discussions such as Bible studies that tell us more about how Jesus taught us to live in love and the caring of others.These are ideas to resolve in this coming year.
